Outsourcing in the Netherlands 2008

Outsourcing Performance, celebrating its fifth anniversary, is currently the largest independent outsourcing research in the Netherlands, and its success and growth over the past years is indicative of the expansion and increasing importance of the sourcing industry both within this region, and across Europe overall.

In total, 550 contracts of 240 organisations have been assessed with approximately 3 billion euros in annual contract value. The participants, many with senior roles such as CEO, CIO, CFO and VP, are key outsourcing decision-makers representing the top 500 companies and government agencies in the Netherlands.

About the study
The study, an annual perception evaluation, was developed in collaboration with EquaTerra, incorporating Morgan Chambers. The Dutch study activity forms part of a larger, European exercise which is also carried out with the same methodology in the United Kingdom, Belgium/Luxembourg and the Nordic regions.

The Netherlands study was carried out electronically within Giarte's closed research community DigitalBoardroom (www.digitalboardroom.com), following a personal invitation to select participants (an invitation is required to participate in the activity).

All study participants receive an extensive report detailing the satisfaction scores per market segment, as well as an in-depth trend analysis relating to outsourcing developments. Outsourcing service providers involved in the excercise receive customised reports containing all details on their performance and that of their peers.
